We have one bedroom available upstairs in our home. We are looking for someone who is in alignment with our values of regeneration and sustainable living. We are seeking someone who intends to invest with us for the long term (10+ years) however if you feel passionately aligned and you can only stay for a short while we would love to have you.

• Meal Club is our group vegetarian (mostly vegan) meals with rotating cooking responsibilities (more info below)

LOCATION

• Near a Confederation park in NW Calgary, not far from both SAIT and U of C.

• 15 minute bike lane or short bus ride to the downtown core.

• Our self-owned bungalow on a treed property with additional building on-site

• Cambrian Heights Neighbourhood is a quiet and safe suburb

SERVICES

Room rent fee: $700-800 per month (varies according to room location and size)

rent includes:

• all utilities including fiber-optic wifi

• use of the common space including kitchen, living room / home theatre, flex / yoga room, and the front & backyard vegetable gardens (harvest freely)

• common expenditures (incidentals such as laundry soap)

OPTIONAL

• Meal Club : You can cook one night per week for the community and then enjoy a meal from others 5-6 nights of the week

CHORES

• everyone contributes 6 hrs per week min in cleaning, meal club (cooking for the group), planting & weeding, property improvements & maintenance, meetings etc.

We welcome you to come visit us on  Weekdays at 6 pm for an opportunity to get to know our community with dinner provided. We would like to meet you and learn more about your interest in co-operative living structures.

TRIAL PERIOD

We ask that potential residents come for a 10 day stay prior to move in date to ensure they are a good fit in the home. This allows us to cultivate a community that is harmonious.
